Planning for Silver Spring's Newest Neighborhood

Falkland North will soon become a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood of apartments, retail, water features and a lush public garden. An award-winning team of architects, developers and landscape architects is working to transform the northeast corner of 16th Street and East-West Highway into a living model of sustainable design. The redevelopment will restore the landscape and re-establish connections to the local environment that have diminished over the last 50 years.
